	Welcome to the California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC) web site for the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) review of the proposed construction of Pacific Gas and Electric Company's (PG&E) Monta Vista/Wolfe/Stelling Looping Project (A98-10-026). This site provides access to public documents and information relevant to the CEQA review.
	In response to CPUC General Order No. 131-D, PG&E has applied for a permit to construct the project.
	MITIGATED NEGATIVE DECLARATION & FINAL INITIAL STUDY Because approval of this action is discretionary on the part of the CPUC, California law requires this CEQA review. The DRAFT NEGATIVE DECLARATION DRAFT INITIAL STUDY NOTICE OF PREPARATION have been prepared and are viewable online or can be downloaded from this site. Print copies are available at the following sites. Reviewers should call ahead of time to determine when these establishments are open
	The period for public review of the Negative Declaration and Initial Study is February 3, 1999 through March 5, 1999. Comments must be received in writing and postmarked no later than 5:00 p.m., March 5, 1999.
