The project would not induce
growth and, therefore, it would not result in an increase
demand for neighborhood or regional parks or other
recreational facilities.
The site is closed to the
public and has no recreational uses. The closest parks to
the site include the Vasona Lake County Park (with 0.5
mile to the south) and Los Gatos Creek Park (within one
mile to the northeast) (Los Gatos, 1994). A variety of
private recreational facilities are present in the
vicinity. The proposed project would not result in an
impact upon the quality or quantity of existing
recreational opportunities. Therefore, no adverse impacts
are anticipated.
