This letter confirms that on April 2, 1998, pursuant to Rule 48 (a) of the Rules of Practice and Procedure of the California Public Utilities Commission, you granted Southern California Edison Company, Pacific Gas and Electric Company, San Diego Gas and Electric Company, and all other interested parties an extension of time to file replies to comments on the issues raised in the Commissioner Neeper/ALJ Econome Joint Ruling dated February 6, 1998.

Thus, Reply Comments (including requests for closing argument) are due on April 22, 1998. Further, under the revised schedule, a Proposed Decision is due no later than July 22, 1998.
