What Is It? - A Workshop on Metering And Communications Technologies for Direct Access Working Group (DAWG) members and interested parties.

Purpose? - Provide overview of metering and communications technologies currently in use and options for implementation of direct access and real time pricing.

Workshop Date - Friday, June 21, 1996

Location - Hyatt Regency Capitol Park Hotel, Sacramento, California

Time - 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

Note - The NMRC (formerly the National Meter Reading Conference) is holding its Annual Conference from June 19-21, 1996, at the Hyatt Regency Capitol Park Hotel, Sacramento, California. The Workshop on Metering And Communications technologies will be held at the same hotel. Interested persons can attend some or all of the NMRC Conference activities, which includes exhibits by most of the metering equipment vendors. Separate registration for the NMRC Conference is required.

The time period from 12:00 Noon to 3:00 PM on Thursday, June 20 has been left open (no DAWG meetings are scheduled) so that NMRC registered DAWG members may use the time to view the NMRC exhibits.

Persons who desire to attend the NMRC Conference or view the exhibits must register directly with the NMRC. Special conference registration rates have been negotiated for DAWG members. The special NMRC registration rates are as follows:

Half Day Exhibits Only $50

Full Day Exhibits Only (includes lunch) $75
