MINUTES OF COORDINATING COMMITTEE
CONFERENCE CALL OF JULY 19, 1996
1. The technical team meetings of July 23 and 24 in Sacramento will be canceled. After significant discussion and the agreement of the technical team leaders, it was decided that the time next week would be better spent in drafting chapters for the final DAWG report.
2. July 26 is the FINAL date to deliver comments on existing drafts to their drafters. Such comments MUST be submitted either by e-mail with the comments attached or by submission of a disk. "DELIVER" means either e-mail for delivery by the end of the day or hand-delivery of a 3 and 1/2 inch disk in WP 5.1 format to the drafter by the end of the day.
3. The meetings in Burbank currently scheduled for the Week of July 29 have been changed as follows:
Teams A and C will not meet on July 30; Team C will meet on July 31..
Team B will not meet on July 31. Team D MAY meet on July 31.

4. Following is the Agenda for the Full DAWG meeting of August 1:
A. Discussion of the final drafting and editing protocols for the August 30 DAWG report.
B. Selection of editing team.
C. Compile list of outstanding issues to submit to the Commission, per request of Assigned Commissioners.
D. Discuss and decide whether to have another DAWG meeting before August 30. PLEASE NOTE THAT IF THE DECISION IS NOT TO HAVE ANOTHER MEETING, THIS MEETING WILL BE THE LAST FULL DAWG MEETING BEFORE THE AUGUST 30 REPORT IS FILED, SO ATTEND IF YOU WISH TO PROVIDE ANY SUBSTANTIVE INPUT.
E. Discuss proposal of Coordinating Committee to cancel many Team meetings during the rest of August. It will be up to team leaders to decide if their teams need to meet further. Please come prepared to discuss whether you believe your team requires further meetings in August.
F. Distribution of First Draft of Final Report. PLEASE NOTE:
The Report will be assembled from chapters the morning of August 1. Although efforts will be made to put the draft in proper order, some misordering is a possibility, and you should bear that in mind in your initial review.
If you plan to attend this Full DAWG meeting only to pick up a first draft of the report, one will be overnight mailed to you if you do not attend, as long as your address is on the DAWG address list.
Chapter leaders are to arrive at the Full DAWG meeting with their chapters on 3 1/2 inch diskettes in WP 5.1 format.
5. August 9 will be the last day to provide any substantive comments to the DAWG draft report. Such comments must be by e-mail or diskette, delivered on August 9, to a person or persons on the editing team to be designated.
