COORDINATING COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES
DIRECT ACCESS WORKING GROUP
JULY 9, 1996
Numerous members of the DAWG Coordinating Committee meeting met at the CPUC building from 9:30 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. on July 9. The following points were addressed:
1. Michael Jaske reviewed the agenda we had received for the Checkpoint Meeting from 2:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. the afternoon of July 9 with Assigned Commissioners Knight and Neeper.
2. Each of the team leaders then reviewed the presentations they would make on behalf of their teams during the
Checkpoint Meeting. Suggestions for changes, additions, and deletions to each report were made by various Coordinating Committee members. Nancy Gault made the presentation on behalf of the Metering Communications team. Mac MacCay and Carolyn Kehrein made the presentation on behalf of the Market Rules Committee. Randy Britt and Dan Carroll made the presentation on behalf of the Implementation Team. Lynn Macke made the presentation on behalf of Customer Protection and Education Team.
3. Michael Jaske then reviewed the concluding remarks he planned to make and suggestions for those remarks were received.
4. Joe Venne then reviewed the opening remarks he planned to make and suggestions regarding those remarks were made.
5. The Committee discussed the Table of Contents for the final DAWG report which had been assembled and edited by Nancy Day and Mike Jaske. It was decided to distribute the table of contents at the Checkpoint Meeting, while noting that this was an initial draft and the table of contents would evolve as the drafts evolved.
6. An agenda was agreed upon for the Full DAWG meeting to occur from 12:30 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. on July 9.
7. The Committee discussed format issues related to the final DAWG report. It was decided that the Committee should suggest use of WordPerfect 5.1 as the word processing program, since most people either have that program or can convert other programs (such as Word 6 and WordPerfect 6) downward to WordPerfect 5.1. It was also determined that the font for the final report will be CG Times / Times New Roman, 12 pt. There was also further discussion of drafting principles.
