The published Agenda was discussed and revised substantially.  


1.  Customer Privacy  (working from 7/10/96 Draft by Rich Jarvinen)

        a) editing phase -- getting factual information (Section 1 - 4)
        b) Section 5 -  assignments to write positions with pros/cons.
These pieces should be sent to Rich Jarvinen, SDG&E by close of business
July 19, 1996.

        It was noted that everything has to be into the DAWG report as a
whole by July 30.  A draft will be distributed by August 1.   August 8th is
the last day the DAWG Coordinating Committee with accept substantive
comments.

        There was some discussion on the use of the terms "personal" and
"customer specific".  Anthony Mazy, DRA is putting together a glossary.
Parties were encouraged to submit their definitions of these terms to him
for inclusion in the glossary.

        Steve Linsey will write up something on the design of an "opt-in"
procedure.  (Access to information to facilitate market opening on 1/1/98.)

as discussed in DAWG-B.

        Section 1 through 4 of 7/10/96 Jarvinen draft should be factually
based.  If you find errors or have other comments, send to Rich Jarvinen as
soon as possible.


2)  Registration and Redress.  (Referring to Michael Shames, 7/8/96
document on this topic.)

        The underlining on the handout provided in the meeting highlights
the changes from the previous document.  Unfortunately, this underlining
did not come out on the web or via email.  Main changes were in section
4.1.1 (3rd and 4th paragraphs), section 4.1.1.1 was added, and 4.1.2 d
there were changes.

        There were also a few changes to the "Consumer Principles" document
in sections VII, IX and X.    For next meeting, focus on bracketed
material.

        There was a comment that the glossary being prepared by Anthony
Mazy should be Appendix A.

        The group decided to add the consumer principles to Section 2.0 of
this outline.

        The group decided to cancel the meeting in San Diego next week on
7/17.  There will be instead an informal gathering of whoever happens to be
around.  Next official meeting of DAWG-D will be in Sacramento on 7/24/96.
