Attached you will find an analysis of the different posting formats and
protocols for the UDCs' PX credit rates or weights. At the Customer
Data Transaction meeting on May 8, Green Mountain had taken on the
responsibility of aggregating the information on how each UDC was
posting this information. We recommend the following near term changes
and ask for comments on or additions to them by May 20. If you are
interested in customer data transaction issues and have not yet
subscribed to the CDT exploder, please do so as described at
http://162.15.5.2/wk-group/dai/.

Recommended Near Term Changes to Posting of UDC PX Credit Rates
1) All UDCs use a common format of PX credits to the same number of
significant digits.
2) As a principle, UDCs minimize the degree to which ESPs have to use
the posted data in additional calculations to prevent calculation or
protocol errors in replicating the PX credit seen on a customer's bill.
3) All UDCs provide full explanations of all codes used in the PX
credits posted on their respective websites.
