Pre-Workshop Meeting Notice
NOTICE OF DIRECT ACCESS PRE-WORKSHOP MEETINGS TO BE HELD MAY 28, 1997
(SUPERSEDES MAY 20 NOTICE REGARDING METERING AND DATA COMMUNICATIONS STANDARDS
MEETING)
In its May 6, 1997 direct access decision issued in these
dockets the California Public Utilities Commission required that
numerous workshops be held to resolve various implementation aspects
of the Commission's decision. This announcement will serve as notice
of pre-workshop meetings for the Retail Settlement and Information
Flow workshop and the Meter and Data Communications Standards
workshop. Both these meetings will be held on Wednesday, May 28,
1997, at Pacific Gas & Electric Company's, Energy Center, 851 Howard
Street, San Francisco, California. The Retail Settlement and
Information Flow meeting will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
The Meter and Data Communications Standards meeting will be held
from 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. The first item of business in the morning
session will be a discussion of the scope and relationship of both

This notice supersedes the notice issued on May 20, 1997
which scheduled a pre-workshop meeting for the Meter and Data
Communications Standards workshop on the morning of May 28 at PG&E's main
offices. Please note the changes in time and place set forth above.
