RSIF Supplemental Work #2

ELECTRIC INDUSTRY RESTRUCTURING PARTNERS:
This note is a follow-up to the one I sent last week about the next phase
of supplemental RSIF work.
In response to the heartfelt pleas of the CEC staff and others, we will
postpone the initial organizational meetings to the week after Labor Day.
In line with the requests of several parties, we will hold the initial
meetings for all the work on concurrent days, and you are welcome to
come for whichever topic(s) you are most interested in.
(Since PG&E is organizing the meetings, we are assuming the privilege
of having them in San Francisco. However, if any of you vociferously
object, you're welcome to propose an alternative.)
Here's the revised tentative schedule (which we can revise again based
on the work of the groups):
Initial organizational meetings: Thursday and Friday, September 4-5
Purpose (for each group):
1. identify subjects to be addressed
2. make assignments
3. set remainder of schedule
O Retail Data Integrity and Quality (specific auditing recommendations):
Thursday morning
O Dispute Resolution: Thursday afternoon
O Meter Registry Information Exchange: Friday morning
O Universal Identifiers: Friday afternoon
Circulate drafts: ~ September 30
File supplemental reports: ~ October 10
File comments: ~ October 25
Commission decision: ~ December 1 ???
Please RSVP to Rosaline Brown at RDBS@PGE.com by Friday, August
29 if you plan to attend the initial organizational meetings.
If you have already indicated to us your interest in participating in this
process, we will assume that you are coming and will send one
representative from your organization - you do not need to RSVP.
However, if you have contacted us but are not coming, or if you are but
will have more than one attendee, please let us know.
Thank you for your continuing efforts on this important work. We look
forward to seeing you at the kickoff meetings.
