MC 5/26 notes and 6/9 agenda

Meter Communications May 26 Minutes:
At the 5/26 meeting the subgroup voted to recommend C12.19 as a requirement
for new meter types after March 20, 2000. All meters that are currently
being manufactured would be exempted from the C12.19 requirement and allowed
to continue throughout the commercial life of the meter. The group voted for
an effective date for each of the meter types in the various columns. The
final vote on the table was as follows: 14 yes/ 3 no/ 4 abstains- ORA
subsequently changed the "no" vote to an "abstain."
