The following is the comparison between CMEP and EDI 814 & 867. The
comparison was done mainly for MDMA applications.
PGNE423.DOC is the high level review and comment. EDINCMEP.DOC is the
comparison on the code level. The version of CMEP that is used in this
comparison is Appendix E of Meter and Data Communications Standards
Workshop Report filed with CPUC on July 25, 1997. The changes and/or
special interpretation of certain codes, if any, that have been
incorporated into CMEP after July 25, 1997 will not be reflected in this
comparison.
