Drafts re EDI for PSWG/ MDMA Review

Attached are (1) a draft of section VII.3 for the PSWG report, (2) a
table to be worked into item 1 as documentation of the mapping of CMEP
data elements regarding meter usage data into EDI format, and (3) an
appendix to item 1, which is a proposed EDI implementation guideline of
the scope discussed at the last PSWG/ MDMA meeting, i.e., a "narrow"
implementation corresponding to the current CMEP content and to the
program I discussed to convert between CMEP and EDI formats.  The draft
of section VII.3 is mostly the same as contained in my proposals of
March 23 and May 15, because I have received only limited feedback on
the details involved in these proposals -- but updates have been made
where possible.  Discussion of future EDI implementation, including
migration to a more complete subset of the UIG guideline, will be added
to the final section ("Future Directions").  Along with revisions to
reflect comments that I hope to receive on these drafts, these documents
are subject to revision once the EDI guidelines adopted by UIG during
the week of June 1 become available.  I look forward to discussion of
these drafts at next week's meeting.
