Changes to Direct Access WG Web Site on ORA's Server

Some changes to the web sites for the "Rule 22" Direct Access Tariff Review
Committee and other working groups have been discussed for months, and are
finally here. A merged site with ratesetting activities is now at
http://ora.ca.gov/wk-group, which has been the home for the Ratesetting
Working Group and is one directory level higher than the previous DAI site.
After a chance for feedback at the OCC and Rule 22 meetings, users will be
automatically refered from the old site to the new one. Until then, Rule 22
web site postings are going to both the old and new sites.

Among the differences is a new directory for 1999 activites, with the 1998
activities' postings remaining where they have been. In the 1998 directory,
key 1999 postings will be kept in place because there are (or may be)
references to them, but others will be thinned out so 1998 postings can be
accessed faster.

Another difference is a new directory for operations manuals and similar
documents like workshop reports. After feedback at the OCC and Rule 22
meetings, an email address for these submissions will be created.

Another difference is a calendar of meetings. A button at the bottom is for
adding meetings to the calendar, and buttons on the right side allow editing
of existing meetings on the calendar (for room changes, etc.). A password
can be used when adding a meeting, to prevent unauthorized changes.

If there are any suggestions for further improvement, I'd like to hear them.
