PSWG Agenda

Steve,

I generally concur with the CEC's proposed agenda and strongly concur with
CEC's recommendation that we attempt to consolidate various metering
related issues in the PSWG, subject to Commission permission to do so.
There are just too many workshops and working groups going on. This
probably requires an ACR ruling.

I would suggest the PSWG address the following four subject areas and
create a Subcommittee and appoint a chair for each. Following the New York
model, chairs should include a variety of industry participants (UDCs,
ESPs, MDMAs, MSPs, regulators, etc.) My proposed areas:

1. Permanent meter technical standards (safety, reliability, accuracy,
testing, etc.)

2. Open architecture

3. MDMA standards (any proposed additions or modifications to D.97-12-048
and D.97-10-087)(this is where I would propose to handle Data Quality and
Integrity issues, the proposed mega-meter-database-MMDB-, and the Universal
Node Identifier, since these are all meter data management issues)

4. MSP standards (any proposed additions or modifications to D.97-12-048
and D.97-10-087)

I'll see you at the meeting.

Chris
