RSIF billing sub-group status

On July 31, and August 1 the RSIF workshop sub-group on ESP/UDC 
communications related to billing and customer switching and account 
maintenance met in San Francisco.  The revised proposal document will be 
posted on Monday, August 4.  On Wednesday, August 6 the group will meet 
again in San Francisco (look for a notice regarding location) from 9 to 
5.  To prepare for that meeting, we ask that each participant circulate 
the draft among those at their organizations who may be able to 
contribute comments.  We have agreed to set an agenda that identifies 
three things on Wednesday: 

1) Any new proposals for transaction sets or other elements of the 
communications process not covered or addressed sufficiently in the 
draft document;

2) The issues that require group discussion for clarification or 
resolution;

3) The issues that are likely to remain unresolvable and resulting 
decisions required by the CPUC.

Please post comments using this general format by Tuesday morning so 
that we can organize an agenda and other participants will be alerted to 
the issues or the agenda on Wednesday so that they can make sure the 
appropriate people are available from their organization.

The draft proposal will be posted on this website on the 8th and 
comments are due posted on the 12th.  We have scheduled a final drafting 
meeting on the 13th and will file the final sub-group report with the 
CPUC on the 15th.
