All:
Rule 22 currently provides for the release of information to the ESP for
billing, settlement and other functions required for the ESP to meet its
obligations. The ISO has requested similar access to information, to assist
them in the operation of the ISO Grid, for all End-User Loads directly
connected to the ISO Controlled Grid within the PG&E service territory. In
response to this request from the ISO, PG&E is proposing to add language to
its' Rule 22 Section C "Customer Inquiries and Data Accessibility" that
would allow PG&E to release customer specific information on ISO Grid
Connected Customers to the ISO and PX. We would like to discuss the
proposed tariff language at the next Rule 22 Tariff Review Committee
meeting. This language would be added to our Rule 22 as Section C.3(e) and
would read:
"Any customer, regardless of service option, who is directly connected to
the ISO Controlled Grid consents to the release to the ISO, or PX, the
account and metering information required for billing, curtailments and
other functions required for the operation of the ISO Controlled Grid. Such
information may include, but is not limited to the following: Account name
and service address, ISO Grid Take-out point, hourly interval kWh and kVARh
metering data, voltage at the connection to the ISO Grid, voltage at the
meter location and service option (bundled or direct access service)."
