Attached are the meeting notes for the Meter Usage Data task group's 9/28/98
meeting, addressing migration of meter data to EDI.
Note that the follow-up items for the next meeting include a couple of
issues on which input from ESPs is desired:
(1) In cases where there are multiple meters at a customer's site that need
to be combined to produce the account's billed usage, ESPs are asked to
identify whether they need MDMAs to totalize the meters (rather than the
ESPs performing this task themselves).
(2) ESPs are asked to identify preferences in transmission method for
historical usage data (e.g., email, downloading from server).
Participation in the task group's next meeting (which will be scheduled
soon) would be the most effective for supporting such preferences, otherwise
at that meeting I will summarize any email sent to jep@cpuc.ca.gov regarding
these issues.
