URGENT: Implementation Proposal of Meter Specific Transactions

PLEASE REVIEW THE FOLLOWING DOCUMENTS AND PROVIDE FINAL FEEDBACK BY MONDAY,
OCTOBER 5th.

Based on your feedback (8/98) related to the Meter Specific Transactions, a
small working group met to further modify the proposed procedures and
information flows.  A series of compromises and modifications resulted in
the final products in the body of this email. 

We plan to present our results at the OCC meeting on Monday, October 5th and
at the Rule 22 meeting on Tuesday, October 6th.  The group is recommending
an implementation schedule beginning November 2nd through December 1, 1998.
By 12/1/98, the expectation is that all parties would implement the changes
described in the attachments.

outstanding issues, and working group participant list. (Meeting of 9/17)

 <<Feedback821.doc>> This file contains the feedback questions and answers
from the previous circulation in August 1998.
 <<Mcformre.doc>>  <<Mtrchar2.doc>>   These two files contain the new form
and user guide for the DA Meter Characteristics notification.  This form
will only be used to notify the UDCs of new meter types going into their
service territory.
 <<MIFORMREV-NEW-B version.doc>>  <<MIGUIDE2.doc>> These two files contain
the Installation / Removal form and the user guide.
