RE: Comment on 4-15 Meeting Notes



Chris,  I believe the 0.5% was a typo.  This deals with the acceptable
accuracy requirement of a portable watt-hour standard only.  The
watt-hour standard must be at least twice as accuracate as the devices
they are calibrating. The watt-hour standard manufacturers will agree
that 0.05% is a reasonable, practical requirement in todays market
place.  Otherwise, the watt-hour standard could not technically be used
to test a solid state meters, many of which are specified to be better
than 0.5%.
