Internet EDI: Location of 4/1/99 Meeting, & 3/1/99 Meeting Notes

The location of the next meeting on Internet transmission of EDI for
California's direct access market will be Room 307 on Thursday April 1 at
PG&E, 77 Beale St., San Francisco, from 9 AM to 4 PM.  (This was changed
from the original date of 3/29 due to schedule conflicts.)

A couple of participants have already contacted me to arrange time on the
agenda to give presentations.  If others will also be interested in giving
presentations, please let me know ASAP so I can plan the agenda.  Please
note in doing so that presentations should focus on information about
technologies, proposals for implementation of Internet EDI in the California
electric market, or similar topics, and not on promotion of specific
products.

The meeting notes from our March 1 meeting are attached.  (These are
unofficial meeting notes, of course, and have not been reviewed by the
participants.)

For scheduling of the next Internet EDI meeting, the preferences that I have
received are six people favoring Thursday April 1, three favoring Monday
March 29 (one of whom can attend part of 4/1), and one neutral.  Based on
the expressed preferences, the meeting will be Thursday April 1, at PG&E,
from 9 AM to 4 PM.  More specific details will be forthcoming.
